It was at the age of 13, Amol G. aka "KAPTAN" discovered his strong connect with music that was infused into him from birth owing to the musical background of his mother and in the growing up years the strong influence of the city of "Varanasi" where music is magic and in the veins of the city. Picking up keyboards and guitar-playing, early influences to electronic music by Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, Jean Micheal Jarre marked the beginning of his journey into the world of waveforms. Soon he was seen mixing on tape decks and vinyls, behind the consoles at an early age. Progressing naturally and stepping into the field of production, he has been producing and discovering his signature sound for over 19 years. This musical journey has seen him perform in various locations around the world, from the  serene deserts of the playa, to the balmy beaches of Goa, from the sunny musical weeks in Miami to darker dingy spaces in the Mumbai underground scene.
