Fresh off winning the "Best Newcomer Producer" award at the prestigious Drum & Bass Arena 2014 Awards, along with being nominated for "Best Newcomer DJ" and "Best Club Night" (Liquicity, which he co-runs), Dutch-based producer, Maduk makes his return to Viper Recordings with his new single 'How Could You', backed with 'Love Like This' (a collab with German producer, Champion).

Maduk made his Viper debut in 2012, winning the official Beatport Remix Contest for Matrix & Futurebound’s single, ‘All I Know’. This was followed by his debut Viper single ‘Feel Good / Don’t Be Afraid’, and ‘Live’ from Viper’s annual Summer Slammers 2013 album. 

More recently he has collaborated with Logistics and Nu:Tone on 'Stutter' from Logistics 'Polyphony' album on Hospital Records, as well as releasing top tracks such as 'Believe' and 'Kings & Queens' through his own label Liquicity which he co-runs with fellow Dutchman, Maris Goudzwaard.

Over the past year, Gerra & Stone have become one of the most exciting duos to take the genre’s forefront. Featuring across Ram and Program’s discography, they’re creating their own space, one held firmly by tight production standards and a refreshing musicality, seldom seen in newly emerging talent. 

The single appeals to a diverse group of music listeners. Whether across the subs of London’s haunts, or the headphones of any technical music listener, these next two sonic cuts pedestal not only their understanding of a diverse sound design, but also their ability to conquer it. 

‘Dnt U’ is a riddim which cuts and swerves between cascading breaks and instantly recognisable drum patterns. The junglist influences are given a stockiness by an LFO bassline and distortion, falling between amen and quaking sub. It shows a clear persona etched out by the two producers, one which has made them instantly recognisable from the outset. 

The next up, ‘Chicago’ also brings an old school vibe whilst utilising more contemporary techniques. Flipping beat patterns draw you in, whilst metallic percussion drives you forward at an incredible speed. Switching up, it then drags you down a corridor of fluctuating bass notes and snapping hi-hats. 

Adding a second instalment to an already impressive entree, this next output from the outfit prove their path is about to take another ascent. And with exciting new talent to come from the imprint… Once again, it’s time to get with the Program!

Newly formed Drum & Bass trio Raw Signal have definitely shown their intentions to cause absolute mayhem via their productions and DJ sets already, their first release for Serotone was on the highly anticipated “Prozak LP” titled “Back In Time”, which had support from a huge list of artists of highly respected DJs and Producers.

But these guys are no strangers to the world of Drum & Bass, 2 of the team were previously independent producers for Serotone “Optymun” & “Dusty”, these guys gained massive attention on some early releases they did for Serotone and gained remixes from “Jayline” & “Levela” on the “Concoction REMIXED!” EP. This release went on to hit the number one spot on the weekly UK Drum & Bass charts 2 weeks in a row, with Jayline’s remix of “Optymun – Infected” gaining number one track in the singles chart. Previous to Serotone, Dusty already had established himself within the scene, releasing on various other labels, getting plays on “BBC Radio One” & “BBC 1Xtra” via “Grooveriders” show. The 3rd member of the team is Serotone’s Co-Founder “Rivalize”, the brains behind Serotone’s movements along with label partner “Brown B”. Helping to bring exposure to the team as both label owner and co-producer, Rivalize has his own prime-time show on the “multi-award winning” Drum & Bass radio station “Rough Tempo” and has taken bookings at some of the biggest festivals and clubs all across Europe, the UK and Ireland to spread the Serotone sound!
