THE GREAT SLICK SILVER CONTEST OF 2023 entry (real)

Asgore is like, one of my favorite Undertale characters, and the fact that BelowExchange was one of the valid AUs to make an entry on solidified an Asgore theme as my entry. I'm a wee bit hard of hearing right now so mixing is even more ass than usual, but I did my best. I wanted to capture Asgore's essence in this song since despite taking Toriel's role, he's still the same Asgore we all know. A guy with a big heart, but he's not a pushover because of it. He'll fight hard to make sure you're ready for what's ahead, because if you aren't strong enough to take a life if need be, he can't bear to let you go, even if it has to be his life you take to learn that lesson. He hates fighting, but he knows he has to at some point, so this theme tries to capture that. It's not as climatic as ASGORE, but it's not supposed to be.

One might argue this probably should go on @altoadie, but too bad, I can put it there when it's time to save more minutes again. This is (currently) the last remaster I have in store for you all! As I said, some of them would be weird choices, and this one's definitely up there in the weird department.

To explain the context for this fight (and the thumbnail, and the AU, and. whatever) would take like 90 years that I don't really have the time to spend. So instead just take it for what it is: a silly Megalo replacement for an AU that doesn't really exist. All you need to know is that this AU is... technically an Undertale AU based on my own swap version of Corpse Party. That's the most confusing detail I'll spill.

i've just moved on 
back in 2018 i kind of lost my passion for ut/dr music, and despite trying to get back into it a couple years ago, i wasn't motivated to stick with it

however, this doesn't mean i haven't been making music
in fact, i've created a new account which i'll upload all my future projects to
they're not undertale related, so i don't feel like they should live on this account. so, i am leaving this as an archive of my time with the UTSC community
