Navigating us through these topsy turvy times, Joris Voorn whisks us back to a 92 state of mind with this powerful update of a stone cold Dutch techno classic.

Originally produced by The Tellurians (AKA Robert Smit, Ferry Corsten, John Matze and Rene de Ruyter) the original 'Navigator' was a humungous hit across Europe and helped to define the exciting European sound that was emerging in house and techno at the time. Now, 29 years later, the Spectrum boss closes the loop with sincerity, clarity and some seriously heavy bass.

Lowering the tempo, fattening the groove, bringing that demonic one-word vocal to life and adding weaves and weaves of little production details, 'Navigator' has been modernised with subtlety and dark nocturnal soul. Already a key track in Joris' 'Global Underground 43' mix album last year, this marks a whole new lease of life for a track that's older than many of us DJs and ravers alike. Released as the entire scene enjoys a whole new lease of post lockdown life.

By now GIGEE is a part of the Katermukke family. Her never failing to impress sound stays strong. This time she sends us on a melodic journey of three pieces. It starts off with ‘Modus Operandi’ and its evolution of an intensively grabbling synth line. Second in line is the Niconé remix of ‘Modus Operandi’, which takes off some pace, pushes the rhythm more squared and reiterates the synth evolution on the original’s peak. Then she finishes it off with ‘Resist To Change’ a track that just seems to be made for big systems.

Dexter Curtin & Marcus Jahn are Leipzig based artists who have been in great harmony since 2012. The charismatic duo has been drawing attention with their releases on 3rd Avenue / MNL (Manual Music) / ICONYC / Massive Harmony / Another Life Music / Evitative & more. Their sound is reflected in the genre of progressive house, organic house, tech house & techno.

When they first met in 2012, both felt that they were a surprisingly good fit from the start.
