My name is Warren Curry and I've been in love with music ever since I can remember. I wrote my first song at age 6 and I use to drive my mom crazy singing off key at the top of my lungs to the radio! As I grew older the love for words still lingered I often wrote poems and short stories, which led me to rapping, push ups and gold chains and there was a moment in time, when I wanted to be the next LL Cool J...but that was before I saw Prince's "Purple Rain" the movie, and all ambition of being a rapper left my mind. At that moment I knew what I wanted to be doing for the rest of my life, making music. I began playing piano at the age of 18, night and day I played for hours on end, until I could play along to any song on the radio. About a year later, I was writing and composing songs for all the local artist in my neighborhood. Sometimes we never take the time to completely understand how certain things impact us, or how they move us in a direction. For me it has been music, it's what brought me back when I lost my way and started running with a gang. It has also been my anchor, my safe haven, a place to go when there was no where else to turn, it has given me more than outlet or self gratification ...it has given me a way to speak from with in.
