Straight outta Inkster, a small city on the outskirts of Detroit, Julian Antoine also known as Jypsy, is a multi-talented artist that embodies funk, jazz, soul,  and hip hop. His talents includes composing, arranging, songwriting, rapping, singing, producing, and record engineering. He is influenced by J Dilla's Detroit Soul, Andre 3000's eclectic approach, George Clinton's beautiful chaos, and Daz Dillinger's G-Funk. Julian Antoine also known as Jypsy started out in 2003 as 1/3 of Street Justice, powerhouse hip hop group out of Inkster. He has performed over the country in many venues, arenas, festivals, and tours, such as Van's Warped Tour 08' and the Oakaloosa Festival.
