The final piece of Tritonal’s ‘Metamorphic II’ is here as the duo announces ‘Now Or Never – The Remixes Pt. 2’. Following the release of Pt. 1, which features massive remixes from US star Pierce Fulton as well as Tritonal’s own Club Mix, Dutch producers Estiva and Juventa have now combined their abilities to create another quality re-imagining of the single. 

This latest remix has all the hallmarks of a big room anthem. Snare led build-ups drive the vocals and then break into tidal waves of synths that come full of force when the track breaks, each time accentuated by a top line as infectious as the original’s own melody. Ever the innovators, Estiva and Juventa have redesigned the makeup of the second verse by adding in a pop-style beat as well as elements of funk into the bass line. The track delivers all the raw emotion that courses through Tritonal’s first cut and projects it through euphoric tones and techniques, making this a real party powerhouse.

Quickie from us: "HOLY SHIT, FINALLY THIS FUCKING SONG IS OUT... This song was meant to be an Edit to promote a show we had at LIV in december. Initially we had Disclosure's 'Fire Starts to Burn' over the track and thought the drop was way to hot to use someone else's vocal. So we had this ridiculous idea to create a song around the concept of the #SELFIE. We really weren't sure if this was the most brilliant idea, or worst idea we ever had... So we had our home girl Alexis come over and within an hour we had 2 verses and the song done. At that point in time we thought it was hilarious but we were quite sure how it would be received, but seeing as we aren't pussbags and music is about experimenting and having fun, we put it out. 2 days later the song had 200k plays and about 1% negative feedback. So we went to Dim Mak who we always loved as a label and asked them if they were interested in it, if we went back in added a new verse and changed the drops. 6 Weeks later here we are, with an amazing Music Video compiled with all this great submitted #Selfies from Fans, Friends, DJS and Celebs. So we hope you all enjoy the tune as much as we did putting this whole project together. This is our first EVER Original release and it would mean the world to us if you all bought the song, shared the video and took #SELFIE video... ”

Bryan Black AKA Black Asteroid returns to Electric Deluxe with his most precise and daring invention yet. ‘Metal’ picks up from where the ‘Black Acid EP’ left off with more sonic alchemies sounding unlike anything else. The former Prince engineer turned MOTOR front man turned galvanic techno DJ, producer and performer has had an incredible run in his latest guise. Since debuting on CLR with ‘The Engine EP’ over a series of well-shaped and energetic releases Bryan Black has forged a distinct and unique signature that is tactile, otherworldly and utterly timeless. 

Ingenious sound design has become his calling card, while Black’s award winning MOTOR heritage never seems far behind. Moments on ‘Black Acid’ felt like he brought the band to the DJ booth. And with ‘Metal’ the sentiment rings even truer. This is “heavy metal techno,” says Black, “but in a very restrained and controlled way.” Indeed the hum of guitars (synths routed through guitar pedals) whirr through lead track “Metal,” a taut and punchy workout spliced with token Black Asteroid weirdness. Meanwhile Black gets even more contained on the masterfully metronomic “Turbine”.

Droid affiliate Luis Flores and Pinion (Bobby Dowell) then split “Metal” off into its opposing sectors. Flores takes things straight the dance floor, while Pinion ramps up the noise and clangor to turn in a real unholy “Metal” monster. Another must for Black Asteroid fans and for those who like their techno cast from mysterious molds.

Another fantastic EP on Enormous Deep from swiss based NORA EN PURE who returns to her home base and delivers 3 stunning indie dance tracks. 
We're opening up the EP with the title track COME WITH ME. A classy and touching piano chord construction builds the basic, slowly filtering up and down during the whole arrangement. Some jazzy vocal phrases and adlibs support the melodic parts. 
LONELINESS takes the more classic indie dance direction, heading on to lift off with a hammering 80s beat pattern, sweeping atmospheres, deep house synth stabs and a funky bass line underneath. This hazy, light dappled nu disco track will become, for sure, a secret night weapon in any whether indie dance but also deep house DJ sets.
The last slot on the EP is home to the track called NORMA JEAN. A buttery blend of percussion, Melody and warm chords, creating a relaxed mood to swing your hips. The track extends just close the 6 minute mark, giving you time to get into the mood and lose yourself on the dancefloor, just exactly as you should.
