Amtrac is a multi-talented artist who can electrify an audience, be it with a moving live music performance or by working dancefloors up to a sweat with his driving yet funk-filled DJ sets.

Lured into dance by The Prodigy and Chemical Brothers, these influences can clearly be heard on his debut LP, "Came Along". From there, he branched out even further with "Hey There Kiddo", an all-sample opus, and "The Scheme".

As quality as his original work may be the calling card of Amtrac's career is the remix, a coveted commodity in today’s music business, from majors like Interscope, Warner Bros & Sony to tastemaker labels like Kitsune, Defected, and Ministry of Sound.

Never content to settle, Amtrac's ambition and curiosity keep him locked on the edge, always happy to experiment with new techniques and sounds. Here, this is on full display as the man himself drops the latest edition of our exclusive mixtape series. Now, with a new EP, "Running After," on Kidnap Kid's nascent Birds That Fly imprint, Amtrac's emotionally atmospheric take on dance music is a phenomenon just waiting to happen.
