Updated Bio: If you haven’t heard that D Flame On, well let me inform you that D Flémon surely brings heat in many forms. Whether she’s spitting songs about life in her hometown Jersey City and cities alike or the ups and downs of love she consistently delivers, well... fire. Defined as a songwriter and emcee which is evident as she goes from “A Flame (Loves a Losing Game)” and “Dirt Be My Destiny” to street hits like “Ready Tho”, “Hear This!”, and “Real Good” on her newly released EP Love > War (Love Is Greater Than War).



Circa 2012: A song writer, lyricist, musician, D Flémon also known as "Flame On" began writing lyrics at the age of 12. Growing up in the gritty city of Jersey City the world seemed to offer few easy routes. It wasn't long after being introduced to the wonderful world of words she begin going in deeper, and never escaping. She realized she had a serious love for the pen and a pad, and soon after the love for lyrics turned into pure desire, a desire for rhyming. On tracks you'll hear this savvy lady's mic skills and electrifying writing. With a beat rocking, slick mouth swagg, her song catalog has shown D Flémon is as versatile as music it self.
 
D Flémon has done three underground mixtapes, with From Morning To Nitemares up next. You can check out her most recent work on the 2010 compilation album The Starting Line-Up (15 Minutes of Fame Entertainment) on iTunes. Here you witness her and her tie to everyday life on tracks like "Get Down" and "Money Right". D Flémon's true voice is clearly heard on "Fendi Boots" where she is not afraid to call out females and tell them to get it together, "How you weekly bottle popping number dropping/and in your fridge there ain't nothing, nothing...". When she's not writing for herself and others or spitting passion on tracks shes advocating for education. "I received lessons from family, I received lessons in my neighborhood, and in the classroom. Each are equally important, but all are slowly disappearing. Who are the kids and young adults suppose to learn from?" You definitely need to here more from this young lady, plus she does FLAME ON!
