Leeds grown DJ duo Audiojack return to DFTD with ‘Mover’, a two-track package demonstrating their unique club sound. Having met in Ibiza in the noughties, the northern house pioneers and Gruuv label bosses established themselves with a string of chart-topping releases and industry accolades in the years that followed, with their commanding work with vocalists setting them apart from the crowd. ‘Mover’ keeps the pair ahead of the curve as modern techno and house come together, accented by distinctly different timbres. The lead, an energetic club-cut, succeeds in keeping the dancefloor engaged with its notable bassline powering on, while ‘Coloursound’ plays with explosive pops and wobbly production against a backdrop of upbeat percussion, soulful vocals and static synths.
