With their 2014 DFTD smash ‘Time To Get Physical’ coming as one of the biggest club records of a seminal era in house, now ‘Bad Advice’ sees the duo deliver another future heater with all the promise of their last output on the imprint. Kicking off with the title track, featuring a catchy vocal hook delivered by Mikey V, a gloriously bumpy bassline and grippingly percussive sound pave a clear path to the dancefloor. 'Permission' is a piece of modern tech-house with a 303 bassline and a oldschool rap vocal sample. The perfect Dj tool that works either in big rooms and cool dancefloors. For the remix, the Solid Grooves usual suspect Bassel Darwish delivered a mint remix keeping the essence of the track but bringing the track into his own territory: fat and raw, hypnotic and elegant.

Longstanding house duo Prok | Fitch make a much-anticipated debut on Hot Creations with Tease. The two-track EP sees them collaborate with London vocalist Kyozo and continues a stunning 2020 that has seen them release on Repopulate Mars and Solid Grooves already this year.

That natural connection is clear from the start, as the straight-up Tease Feat. Kyozo quickly gets the EP underway. A swinging 4x4 bassline powers alongside punchy drums, before Kyozo’s lyrical solo adds an infectious energy to the track’s choppy underlying rhythm. Smack showcases a stripped-back, dubby approach as rounded kicks blend into minimal-leaning bleeps, whilst an echoing vocal repeats “smack” to take us straight through to peak-time dancing territory.
