Marco Manrique and Simon Cortez, who together form Filta Freqz, showcase their versatility in their debut for DFTD, 'Master Blaster EP'. The title track 'Master Blaster' features hip-hop vocals and a swinging 4/4, accented by sax blasts and a funking bass bridge. 'Show Me', utilises a similarly direct 4/4 but is otherwise a far cry from the New York hip-hop style first track. It comes as a classic feel-good house track with soul powerhouse vocals, piano riffs and a pumping bassline. A very strong debut EP demonstrating some seriously diverse influences from the Filta Freqz duo.

Mousse T's version which has been doing the rounds for a while now, is a proven club hit.
Paul Rudder & Hurley deliver a super cool deep groove monster using a nice vocal loop.
