Italian pioneer Marco Lys remixes an international club hit by Cool Jack on DFTD, ‘Just Come’. Cool Jack, comprised of influential DJ and Black Moon Records owner Angelino Albanese, producer Gianni Visnadi and vocalist Tom Hooker, originally released ‘Just Come’ in 1992. The addictive track then received remixes from DJ Sneak, Ralphi Rosario, The Sharp Boys and is now updated for modern clubs by fellow Italian Marco Lys. Known for their lengthy and genre-expansive sets in the underground scene of their home countries, both are celebrated as artists in their own right; Adam Ten for his underground edge demonstrated during previous shows at fabric London, Club Space Miami, SXM Festival and Circoloco with upcoming sets at Junction 2 and Brunch Electronik for summer 2024. His sound reached a wider UK audience with the release of ‘Toys’, in collaboration with Rafael in April 2024, with a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix also landing around the single. The Beatport #1 also attracted much attention for Rafael, with a recent US and Latin America tour cementing him as a heavy hitter internationally. Prolific Polish duo Catz ‘n Dogz return to DFTD with ‘Fired Up’, featuring Dope Earth Alien’s unmistakeable vocal. Love Attacks founder Alan Dixon joins UK house duo mOat and multi-instrumentalist Tom Diesel on DFTD with ‘Underground’. Coming in hot from his rework of Infinity Ink’s ‘Infinity’ on sister-label Glitterbox, nightlife authority Alan Dixon now collaborates with rising artists of the electronic scene. The UK pairing of producers Tom Staar and Chris Spero, mOat have found a home on Armin Van Buuren’s imprint Armada, recently releasing ‘Heat’ with Tensnake. Previously collaborating with Alan Dixon for ‘Infados’ on Love Attacks Records, mOat have also worked with the hybrid producer and live performer Tom Diesel for ‘Pizza Cat’. Australian born DJ and producer Kormak has been making waves on Sydney’s club scene, curating adrenaline filled sets that have gained him more than a few high-profile fans, including Aussie man of the moment Fisher. His last track, ‘Keep On’ featured in Simon Dunmore and Sam Divine’s stand-out b2b at Defected Croatia, and his debut release with DFTD maintains his bumping, bass-driven style of production. The release opens with the title track ‘Love On The Line’, a momentum building record that shows Kormak experimenting with the deeper, dubbier side of house music. By comparison, ‘Feel’ echoes classic house tracks with its vocal, intensified drums and undeniable funk.
