Australian born DJ and producer Kormak has been making waves on Sydney’s club scene, curating adrenaline filled sets that have gained him more than a few high-profile fans, including Aussie man of the moment Fisher. His last track, ‘Keep On’ featured in Simon Dunmore and Sam Divine’s stand-out b2b at Defected Croatia, and his debut release with DFTD maintains his bumping, bass-driven style of production. The release opens with the title track ‘Love On The Line’, a momentum building record that shows Kormak experimenting with the deeper, dubbier side of house music. By comparison, ‘Feel’ echoes classic house tracks with its vocal, intensified drums and undeniable funk.

In My Arms (Qubiko Extended Remix)

After teaming up with Jamie Jones to release ‘Rushing’ earlier this summer, Darius Syrossian returns to Defected for his latest musical output. ‘Come On Come On’ sees the DO NOT SLEEP resident flex his musical muscles by exploring a range of influences throughout, engineering the same soulful vocal sample to provide two genre-defying cuts. Opening with ‘Kouka’, a track that rumbles through with its intensified bass and tension building drops set to rock the most intense of sound-systems, while the vocal interlude at its centre adds diversity and intrigue. This is followed with the title track, where Darius delivers a dose of upbeat driving house, with a rubbery bouncing bassline and a chopped-up version of the vocal, delivering serious end-of-summer vibes.
