Berlin based duo Mat.Joe are welcomed back to Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records this August, this time teaming up one of the founders of Electronic music in Ecuador, Ordonez, for their brand-new single, 'Tra Tra Tra'. From their roots as Hip-Hop producers, Mat.Joe have moved into producing and playing crispy House beats paired with rhythmic Soul and Hip-Hop elements, resulting in a deep, dancefloor-approved sound. Ordonez on the other hand has received support from big names in the scene including Claptone, Mark Knight, Sam Divine, Roger Sanchez, Jax Jones, Wanklemut and many more, with releases on an impressive line-up of labels such as Mother, Too Many Rules, Farris Wheel, Simma Black, UNDR THE RADR and Club Sweat. A fast-paced and fun-filled production from the off, 'Tra Tra Tra' is an instant dancefloor weapon boasting tribal inspired drums, hip swinging hats, bubbling bassline, crisp and energetic percussion and a grooving low-end throughout.

Sorley returns to DFTD with a cohesive three-track EP, ‘Let It Shine’, building on the North East producer’s recognisable club-oriented aesthetic. His previous DFTD release, the heavily coveted ‘Deadeye’, secured the prime time ‘Friday Fire’ feature from BBC Radio 1 tastemaker Danny Howard. Debuting on Riva Starr’s Snatch! imprint with his chart topping ‘She Freeks’ EP, before releasing more through Danny Howard’s imprint Nothing Else Matters. 

The next outing for the producer and DJ is championed by the title track; a rubbery, bass-led club release featuring heavy vocal manipulation decorated with squelchy synth lines. What follows is a seamless mix into the understated ‘My Time’ and more minimal ‘Tube Town’, providing a club experience that is 100% Sorley.

To kick off the new year Desolat welcome talented twosome Danny Serrano & Mendo
for a brilliant new three tracker.

Danny Serrano & Mendo have been frequent collaborators over the last decade, and are regulars on labels like Saved and Moon Harbour. They are high grade producers with a big sound that leans on house, techno and acid to cook up powerful dance floor
heat.

For their first track they link with Andre Butano for some atmospheric vocal work on „Ramon Ramon". It's a popping cut with big metal drums building tension as the Spanish spoken words add to the pressure. Drum fills and sweeping filters all lead to an explosive drop that unleashes loopy, low slung drums that will send the crowd wild.

The high impact „Grush" is next with tight and kinetic drums, air raid sirens and busy drum hits working you into a lather. It's a perfectly peak time, sweat inducing jam for the main room.

Closing out this EP is „Confessions", a busy and heavily percussive track that never settles, instead offering a flurry of snares, stabs, hits and whirring machine
sounds that power on with turbo charged bass. It's pure club dynamite.
