 Solar Kid was raised in a musical family between Serbia, United Kingdom and Sweden. 
Blessed to have been surrounded by musicians for her entire life, she spent a good amount of time soaking up sounds from around the world. With a background in playing the harp and singing from an early age, she brings a wide palette of musical influences and lifelong practices to her current projects.
In 2008 she created "Solar Kid" as a downtempo project which went from being dormant to releasing on Zenon Rec and Kafka tempo.
As a vocalist she has collaborated with Younger Brother aka Simon Posford {Shpongle} and Benji Vaughan {Prometheus}, Zyce, Liquid Soul, Tribone and more artists from the psytrance scene. 
In love with darker as well as funny beats, she delivers eclectic mixes from psytech to dark and acidprog.

I am a folk acoustic performer and songwriter living Wales. I accompany my voice with a percussive guitar style derived from British Folk-Roots and Afro-Latin influences.

I began playing guitar and singing 37 years ago at age eleven, playing in numerous folk and rock bands and performing solo until my thirties when I developed a passion for Samba percussion music.

Ten years ago I returned to guitar after an accident and found that I could unite these styles of music into a new fusion, playing percussion on the face of the guitar. I found myself writing and recording songs to satisfy the potential in this style, lyrically drawing upon the long influence of the British folk tradition I was brought up listening to.
Performance highlights include: Support to O'Hooley and Tidow in North Wales(September 2015); Festival Number 6 (Sept. 2015); Conwy Feast (Oct. 2015) Something Else in the Dean Up North (July 2015); Support to Leatherat in Temple Hewerdyke (June 2015); Bangor Pulse Festival (June 2015; Wakestock 2014; The fringe at Cropredy- Fairport Convention's Annual reunion (2014).

Born in Bangor, North Wales in 1988, Alex Bailey is a composer and sound engineer/designer/artist, with particular interest in electronic music. Achieving his Master’s degree in Electroacoustic Composition and Sonic Art at Bangor University in 2015, Alex’s career has been heavily oriented towards the technology-side of musical praxis. 

Alex’s predominant investigative focus is the crossbreeding of musical genres; namely modern digital music such as EDM (Electronic Dance Music), and Acousmatic Music. Through his research he aims to draw influence from various musical genres/sub-genres and EDM culture to generate a powerful and moving sonic hybridization. 

As part of a busy academic and industry based career, Alex has been a Tutor in Music Technology at Bangor University, and a Sound Engineer for Sain Records and Cwmni Da. He has also had involvement in many exciting musical endeavours, such as composing music for circus performances and film projects, and running music technology workshops for events such as Festival No.6 and the National Eisteddfod. 

Following a recent break from work to go travelling, Alex spends his time hacking audio components and composing experimental music in his home studio in Bethesda, North Wales.

Experimental composer living in North Wales, UK with a main musical output leaning towards classical and ambient style, generally inspired by my love of nature.
