We’re happy to announce to familiar faces back to the mothership: Chloe Raunet aka C.A.R. has been a long time friend and made her first appearance on the label with Maceo Plex on “Mirror Me”. Dj and producer extraordinaire Patrice Bäumel certainly doesn’t need much introduction. “Four Down” shows the duo in a rowdy mood. There’s a very welcome punk-ish attitude to the song that is set to brush today’s polished dancefloors against the grain. Here’s what C.A.R. has to say in her own words: “Some collaborations are meant to be. I first met Patrice at Trouw over a decade ago and we instantly hit it off. When he sent me this idea back in lockdown, it wasn’t something I could come up with musically, but words came easy and the song wrote itself. Bouncing ideas back and forth through the ether doesn’t always work, but when you just get each other, distance doesn’t matter and stepping outside your comfort zone can bring about the best, most fun and spot-on results!”

My set from 6pm Saturday, before the opening ceremony of Trancendance Festival in North-West Tasmania. 

It was an honor to play alongside so much interstate talent and a few local legends. This was the biggest dancefloor I had played to, the energy was incredible and I thank everyone who was a part of it.
Big ups to all the organizers and volunteers, you did an amazing job.

Determinação e convicção. Esses são pilares fundamentais que moldam Mia Fête, DJ/produtora chilena de hard techno radicada em Melbourne, Austrália. Apaixonada por viagens e música, fatores que sempre se misturam para criar sua arte. Seu interesse pela música eletrônica surgiu desde cedo, se questionando sobre o desconhecido além das paredes brancas do centro cirúrgico onde trabalhava, decidiu fazer uma viagem à Nova Zelândia, iniciando um roteiro onde conheceria pessoas que faria entender a arte como propósito de vida. Na expectativa de ampliar seus conhecimentos sobre música, realizou mais uma viagem pelos melhores clubes e festivais da Europa, local onde absorveu a ideologia do Techno underground. Hoje está radicada em Naarm/Melbourne, Austrália, colaborando com diferentes coletivos que tocam nos mais reconhecidos clubes do país e, ao mesmo tempo, trabalhando arduamente em sons inovadores, intensos e envolventes, que fazem o público sentir a importância e intensidade de estar vivo.

Determination and conviction. These are fundamental pillars that shape Mia Fête, Chilean hard techno DJ/Producer based in Melbourne, Australia. Passionate about traveling and music, factors that always mix together to create her art. Her interest about electronic music arose in a early age of her life. Always asking to herself about the unknown beyond the white walls of the operating room where she used to work, she decided to undertake a journey to New Zealand, starting a route where she would meet key people that will make herself understand art as a purpose of life. Looking forward to expand her knowledge about music, she carried out another journey through the best clubs and festivals in Europe place where she absorbed the nuances of underground Techno. Nowadays, she is based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, collaborating with different collectives playing in the most recognized clubs of the country and, at the same time, working hard on innovative, intense and surround sounds, that make the audience feel the importance and intensity of being alive.
