That sunny morning in May, the little witch woke up in a cool and damp forest.  After a few rainy weeks (which were very welcome after 2 very dry years) the whole forest was lush and green again and all animals were very energetic.
At that moment, the young witch heard giggles nearby.  That was really strange, as humans are strictly barred from entering these woods by guard animals.  The girl quickly slipped into her immaculately white dress and ran into the direction of the joyful chuckles, which seemed to come from the center glade.  After arriving there, her heart filled with joy as she saw 8 African teenage girls and she instantly recognized them.  These were the 8 novice witches she had met last year in the village of her fiancé, hidden deep in the African rainforest.  It was truly amazing that they had flown all the way from Central Africa to the witch’s forest in North-Western Europe … an astonishing feat for these young misses.
After a long group hug, the little witch noticed that the 8 novices were tired and dusty from the long flight.  So she showed them the way to the nymph’s pond, where they all took an refreshing bath, in the company of the water nymph.  The pure water rapidly reinvigorated the 8 girls, who soon started splashing water at each other.  African witches are way more lively and louder than their shy and introvert European counterparts. Their ebullient giggles resonated through the whole forest, energizing the animals, birds and insects even more.
The bathing session took quite a while as in between weaver birds were frenetically sewing 8 European-style white dresses for the girls.  When the dresses were finally ready, the 8 girls eagerly tried them on (of course, they were giggling non-stop in the process).  It was the first time they were being dressed in white, which is actually in complete contrast with the vivid colors of the African-style dresses they usually wear.  The little witch saw that they all had the 3 typical beauty traits for witches : sparkling eyes, a soft and shiny skin and a character nose.  And when dressed in white, it was even more striking that they all had a distinctly different skin color, ranging from ash black to golden brown.  After all, the 8 novices hailed from 8 different corners of the African continent.  And most of all, she was surprised to see how much their bodies had evolved.  Only one year ago, they all still looked like children, while now their bodies started to have some nice shapes and curves.  If a young wizard would see them like this, he would certainly fall in love.  Luckily, apart from her fiancé, wizards never visit the witch’s forest so this would be a safe place for the 8 girls to continue their witchy education without getting distracted by unnecessary things for which there was still plenty of time after the completion of their training, which would take 5 more years.
Just at that moment, the witches heard voices in the distance.  The witch’s forest - which is normally the quietest place of North-Western Europe - was a really busy and loud place that day.  The 8 girls and the little witch ran towards the voices, which came from the center clearing, where a big surprise was waiting for them.  First of all they saw the wizard (the little witch’s fiancé) but this time he was not alone, as he was accompanied by 8 teenage novice wizards whom he had encountered during his grand tour around Siberia and Central Asia.
The giant (2m40) wizard lifted up his 1m58 tall fiancée and they exchanged the most tender of kisses, while the 16 teenage witches and wizards uttered a collective ‘Awwwww’.  Once witch and wizard were done with their long welcome kiss, they looked around and saw that the inevitable was already happening.  The 8 teenage witches and the 8 teenage wizards, were already exchanging stealthy glances and shy smiles.  The 8 girls had even stopped giggling and suddenly they all had a serious expression on their faces …
