ਰੂਪ ਭਰੇ ਰਾਗੁ ਭਰੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੁਹਾਗ ਭਰੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਔ ਮਿਮੋਲਨ ਕੀ ਮਾਨੋ ਇਹ ਖਾਨਿ ਹੈ ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ! ਤੇਰੇ ਨੇਤਰ) ਰੂਪ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ, ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਖ਼ਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। (ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਹਿਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਮੋਲਿਆਂ (ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾ) ਦੀ ਇਹ ਖਾਣ ਹੋਣ।

ਮੀਨ ਹੀਨ ਕੀਨੇ ਛੀਨ ਲੀਨੈ ਹੈ ਬਿਧੂਪ ਰੂਪ ਚਿਤ ਕੇ ਚੁਰਾਇਬੋ ਕੌ ਚੋਰਨ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੈ ॥
ਮੱਛੀ (ਦੇ ਮਨ) ਵਿਚ ਹੀਨ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਭਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਲ-ਦਪਹਿਰੀ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਹ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਚਿਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਰਾਣ ਲਈ ਚੋਰਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ।
‘And thrive the heart, and are the paragons of benevolence.

ਲੋਗੋਂ ਕੇ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਹੈਂ ਗੁਨਨ ਕੇ ਨਾਗਰ ਹੈਂ ਸੂਰਤਿ ਕੇ ਸਾਗਰ ਹੈਂ ਸੋਭਾ ਕੇ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਹੈਂ ॥
ਇਹ ਲੋਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਣਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਹਨ, ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਗਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਭਾ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਹਨ।
‘O, my friend! Your vision is as sweet as honey, and sharp, as well,

ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੀ ਸੀਰੀ ਪੜੇ ਚੇਟਕ ਕੀ ਚੀਰੀ ਅਰੀ ਆਲੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਨੈਨ ਰਾਮਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੇ ਸੇ ਬਾਨ ਹੈ ॥੯॥
ਹੇ ਸਖੀ! (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਨੈਣ) ਸਾਹਿਬੀ (ਮਹਾਨਤਾ) ਦੀ ਮਿਠਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹਨ, ਜਾਦੂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਨੈਣ ਰਾਮਚੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਣਾ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਹਨ ॥੯॥
