Born in June 1994, Sasan, also known as DSM, is an Iranian DJ, producer, and electronic music enthusiast. His tunes are mainly inspired by his personal and emotional experiences in life. Sasan initially started his journey by producing mashups.
His hard work finally paid off when he had his first output on record labels such as Ready Mix Records and Capital Heaven. Meanwhile, he started to produce experimental and ambient music, which were the best genres to narrate his deepest feelings. Recently, there was an album released by Cold Spring Records featuring some experimental producers called “VISIONS OF DARKNESS (IN IRANIAN CONTEMPORARY MUSIC)”, which includes DSM's title “NOWRUZ”, which received great feedback.
DSM was also featured on some well-known magazines such as Magnetic, Lodown, and Zenith Magazines for his EP called Abstracted which was released by Futurist record label.
His latest EP, Dernière, is about his last days in his home country, Iran, which was released by Husa Sounds in September 2019.
