Silent night, a mother's plight,



A quiet classroom in Tomoiku High School.
Morning light glints off the whiteboard, and Haruto and Kanon sit side by side, facing its blank surface.

The theme of their pair test is written at the top:

“A Proposal for Achieving World Peace.”

The words are so vast, so heavy, that for a moment the air in the room feels distant.

“…Honestly,” Haruto murmurs with a wry smile,
“It’s so big I don’t even know where to start.”

Kanon nods slowly, her eyes still fixed on the board.

“That’s exactly why,” she says softly,
“we should start from where we stand. Conflicts around the world may look different on the surface, but at their root… I think they begin the moment people stop trying to understand each other.”

She uncaps her pen and writes a single word on the board:

“Division.”

The word sits there—quiet, but undeniably heavy.

“Resources, religion, culture… there are so many reasons,” Haruto says.

“But in the end, it all starts when people lose the ability to imagine the other person.”

“Exactly.”
Kanon turns to him with a gentle smile.
“What we need isn’t to think the same way. What we need is the imagination to try to understand, even when we’re different.”

The answer they reach is surprisingly simple.

“Let’s create a Pair Test song that can reach the world.”

“A song that encourages kids to pair up with the person beside them…
and face the same challenge together.”

“Not a song about competing for the right answer,” Haruto adds,
“but a song about creating something together.”

“Even if cultures differ, music and stories can be shared.
So let’s deliver the Pair Test song in many languages—across the world.”

“And if not just governments and schools, but communities and companies join in…
maybe we can spark a kind of peace people participate in.”

With every word they exchange, the world—once distant—feels a little closer.

In the silent classroom, Kanon begins to speak.

“We believe the key to world peace
is to eliminate division.”

“And to do that, we need the ability
to imagine another person’s perspective.”

“Pair Tests are a form of learning where people grow with people.”
“They’re an experience of thinking together without fearing differences.”

“If that kind of learning began across the world—
peace wouldn’t be something given by someone else.
It would be something each person nurtures themselves.
That’s why… we want to share this song with everyone.”

The air in the classroom trembles quietly, as if moved by her words.

After the test…
Haruto and Kanon stand on the rooftop, gazing up at the sky.

Evening clouds drift slowly across the fading light.

“…Do you think it reached someone?”
Kanon asks softly.

Haruto chuckles.
“Who knows? But if it sticks in even one person’s heart…
isn’t that enough?”

“Yeah.
World peace isn’t something that happens overnight.”

“But—”
They speak the next words at the same time.

“Someone has to take the first step.”

Maybe the world didn’t change that day.

But two people did.

And sometimes…
that’s where everything begins.

Cảm giác lúc ấy sẽ ra sao do OnlyC và Hưng Cacao chắp bút, Lou Hoàng tham gia viết lời. OnlyC cho biết cảm hứng sáng tác ca khúc này đến từ thần tượng của anh, Jay Chou (Châu Kiệt Luân). Từ nhỏ, nam nhạc sĩ đã mơ ước sẽ thực hiện một sản phẩm âm nhạc mà người ảnh hưởng là Jay Chou. Cảm giác lúc ấy sẽ ra sao sở hữu giai điệu nhẹ nhàng, tình cảm hơn bản hit trước đó Yêu em dại khờ. Tuy nhiên, một vài khán giả nhận xét giai điệu bài hát có phần kén bắt tai, ít điểm nhấn.

Hit mới của Lou Hoàng phần lớn gây chú ý nhờ vào MV ca nhạc. Ca khúc được truyền tải dưới dạng phim ngắn kéo dài hơn 10 phút. Chuyện phim xoay quanh mối tình tay ba giữa đôi bạn thân (Lou Hoàng, Hữu Thanh Tùng) và một cô gái xinh đẹp do Trịnh Thảo thủ vai. Kết thúc mở của MV khiến nhiều khán giả chưa thỏa mãn. Ekip của giọng ca Mình là gì của nhau bật mí sẽ cho ra mắt phần 2 trong thời gian tới.
