"Terceiro lançamento (e o segundo consecutivo pela Regulator) de CAVERNANCIA neste ano da graça de 2022, numa discografia iniciada há pouco mais de um ano, mas já singular e muito própria no seu foco quase obsessivo pela eletricidade enquanto lavagem da alma.
Revelado ao mundo pouco depois da estreia de uma colaboração arrasante com a violinista Maria da Rocha, no OUT.FEST, que lança decerto pistas para o futuro, “no chão” é uma evolução do anterior “manto” (que era já, por sua vez, uma leitura invertida da estreia com “em ciano”); onde “manto” se alinhava na exosfera das tempestades meteorológicas, nesta peça longa, de um take só e sem overdubs, a viagem parece fazer-se, precisamente, rente ao chão – lá na terra onde as turbinas crescem como plantas selvagens e geram a energia necessária para os mais indizíveis horrores.
Há, nesta viagem de mais de meia hora, evocação de hangares, de matadouros steampunk num timeline paralelo, resquícios das partículas de eletricidade estática no ar, deixadas pelo levantar do “manto”, mas a sua progressão vem a revelar-se, afinal, de novo cósmica, de novo lançando-se nos grandes espaços siderais, nas vastas cavernas estelares, e de novo, e no fim, deixando a confusão – um equivalente auditivo da “tunnel vision”: a dúvida sobre se chegámos realmente a sair do chão."

4. Reshaping Elementals

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the French dj & producer NƵM 99 (Tjalk Records).

Emerging from the rave scene, NƵM 99 is driven by a dark and acid techno with heavy and powerful basses, he likes to wow the crowds with his fingertips. 
A hyperactive producer, he created his own label Tjalk Records as a tribute to his boat on which he lives.
From his teenage years, he draws his influences from the rave party movement as well as from the tracks of Arnaud Rebotini, THE HACKER, Terence Fixmer and David Carretta.
At the age of 19, he bought his first analogue machines and never stopped enriching his set up as soon as the opportunity arose.
Fascinated by the warm grain of old synthesizers, he cultivates a techno with EBM tones that bewitches dance floors.
Today we are ecstatic to bring you this powerful one hour mix which showcases hishis heavy & crushing sound!

[ Incendie ]

Incendie is the solo moniker of Arthur Bdt, a Berlin-based producer, DJ and Area Z’s manager. After releasing his debut album via UndermyFeet. in 2021, along with contributions to several V/A compilations and collaborative projects, he recently presented his first club oriented EP ‘One Cursed Dance’, via aufnahme+wiedergabe. 

His sound is characterized by a fusion of club music together with metal and industrial influences, conveying dark and introspective atmospheres without restricting to a specific musical genre. 

In this set for Gwi Myeon podcast series, Incendie displays his musical inclinations towards cinematic and ritualistic techno with hints of post-metal, rap and rhythmic noise.
