A sound collage of different field and guerilla recordings, as captured with my smartphone microphone over the last four years. Most of the track's total runtime, however, is occupied by an imporivised keyboard piece I recorded (again with my smartphone) in my home, in Offenbach am Main. The recordings took place in Greece and Germany. Some of the things you can hear are:

Germany: The church bell of Sebalduskirche in Nürnberg and a horse-drawn carriage (for tourists) passing by. Keys being thrown close to the ceiling, inside an -almost- empty room. A drunk brit saying something about brainwashing on a bus stop, outside the Südbahnhof (Frankfurt).

Greece: A man selling pens and notebooks inside the Athens' metro. A PSA on a ferry from Paros to Athens. Drunk men singing Manolis Hiotis and Marika Ninou in a restaurant while it's pouring hail in the island of Paros. My grandma and I trying to sing a song by "Attik" on the guitar. Orthodox Eastern psalms as heard from churches in Litochoro and Thessaloniki. A scizophrenic man screaming in an island of the Dodecanese. Me working at an office job. Me playing with a metal straw. An empty car with rolled down window blasting arabic music.

I have no idea what I'm doing when I'm making music. I'm my own therapist and I advised myself to try and make music because it always relaxes me.
