We are so excited to welcome Melbourne- based dj, radio host, curator and label head @pjenne to our mix series. 

Pjenne is at the forefront of the Aussie underground scene, a true visionary! Her sound takes many forms and genres but she crafted a unique style that is very much of her own. If you haven’t already listened to her beautifully curated radio show/mix series Passing Notes we highly recommend.  

 “This mix is a live recording of (most of) my set at @terra-obscura-london in London in April last year. I played from 12-2am after Slowfoam and before Oma Totem Live - a time in the night where Ormside projects was transformed from 'soft furnishings' to club. I think the mix represents the music I played a lot across my tour last year (and probably won't stop playing), with an additional emotional sprinkle that was inspired by the work of @avsluta and @aliciasteanson. <3”

With spring's early mornings and sunnier days, we're excited to introduce the next chapter of our Deep Breakfast Series, featuring Amsterdam-based artist Paduan.

Patric Kimman, aka Paduan, is a DJ and curator passionate about introspective electronic music. His sets blend drone textures, subtle melodies, concrète sounds, and natural elements, showcased on his Balamii radio show and the "Into the Universe" event series with Will Oirson and Vincent Rang.

In this episode, he takes us on a journey through immersive soundscapes that evoke tranquility and encourage self-reflection, seamlessly blending ambient and experimental textures. Paduan’s work fosters community and dialogue around contemplative electronic music, pushing creative boundaries and inspiring emotional exploration through sound.

Contributing our latest episode is London’s ANNX, a regular figure within the city’s cutting-edge undercurrent whose many contributions include co-curation of the Whomp, Perspectives, and once-shrouded Magick events, and a residency at the beloved Above Below festival. Anna’s tireless dedication to the scene goes hand-in-hand with her unmistakable talent behind the decks, as evidenced by an impressive repertoire of mixes and set recordings, and which I was fortunate enough to witness first-hand last summer in the Chilterns. Here Anna demonstrates her well-honed craft over the course of two meticulously plotted hours, diving seamlessly into manifold forms of deep, heavy psychedelia before emerging in a wave of euphoric bliss. Kizen records (@kizenrecords) founder Romi (@romi808) has been across the techno scene for decades, developing a vision for music that spans genres and moods. INSIJAM – meaning harmony in Arabic – places the essence of chance and encounter at its core. Blending Musique Concrète with traditional Arabic sounds, the performance moves fluidly between experimental, avant-garde, and improvised jazz.

Endurance (@joshua-stefane) is the ambient project of Canadian-born Joshua Stefane. Using modular synthesizers, field recordings, and cassette tapes, Endurance’s sound has become increasing minimal and tonally-focused over the years, employing a minimum of elements to create a maximum of expressiveness. In addition to releasing from labels such as Constellation Tatsu and Mystery Circles, Endurance also curates the Japan-based tape label Muzan Editions (@muzaneditions). As a live performer, he has appeared at numerous high-profile events such as Kyoto’s Star Festival, Extremely Cold Music Festival, Moment, and Rural, with an increasing emphasis on bringing deep ambient soundscapes to techno music parties.

Next up on our mix series is London-based sound artist, DJ, live performer, and event curator @Avsluta. She is the founder of Introspective Electronics, an ambient and downtempo platform that hosts regular radio shows, guest podcast series, and intimate listening events.

As a DJ and producer, her work navigates both listening and dance realms, fluidly moving in between chill-out rooms, clubs and festival dancefloors. Tuning into the energy of the people and spaces, the performances are fuelled by dialog, intuition and improvisation.
