Fabrice Wonga, also known by his one-time stage name Renzo, is a Congo-born Singer | Songwriter. While mimicking vocals by Shawn Stockman of the legendary Rhythm and blues group Boyz II Men, Fabrice recognized his vocal abilities at 13 and began song writing soon after. Reluctant to sing in public due to shyness, he began performing with encouragement by friends and family. He’s musical Influences ranges from Marvin Gaye to Musiq Soulchild and from Papa Wemba to Fally Iputa among others. He has been compared to Smokey Robinson, Trey Songz and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men, hearing and seeing Fabrice perform will tell you why. Fabrice derived from the French means ‘a skilled craftsman’ and has often been used to epitomize his crafty blend of English, Lingala and French lyrics while still maintaining a Rhythm and blues /Quiet storm texture to the themes of his music.
