When the head of label Tigersushi asked her to handle their show, Charlotte barely knew how to transition between tracks - she quickly understood that it would enable her to organize all the music that the label was listening to and intertwine their releases, influences, classics & unknown artists, and to mix and match genres. She now plays with ease in clubs, as well as on Rinse France every month.

The night was cold, dark and unforgiving. From time to time little flutters of light would beam down between the trees, the moon the only thing illuminating them for now.

There was deadly silence all around, it were as if they were the last people left upon the earth. In the distance there was a meek, mild occasional scream from where they had came, from where they were running from...

FOQL is set to release a new LP on Mal Recordings, the record label run by Jon K and Elle Andrews.

The release is a blistering assault of abstract sounds and interesting rhythms. Jon reflects on the record:

"‘Wehikuł’ is undoubtedly the product of turmoil. Personal turmoil and a world in turmoil but as the translation suggests - it is a ‘vehicle’ to move beyond. As such, ‘Wehikuł’ refers to much more than this collection of music, It’s also an analogy for the role that Justyna’s art plays in her life as a Polish woman at this peculiarly unpredictable point in time."

Bio: 
Friedrich Ernst spins electro, breakbeat and UK bleep records. He is the founder of the record label Self Learning System as well as the "Popular Problems" event series together with his partner in crime DJ Unisex. They are also transmitting a residency show called "Intergalactic Rhythms" via Callshop Radio. 
Recently he made some waves with vinyl releases on his own label and tracks on compilations by F.T.P, Ovelha Trax & Defrostatica. His tracks are being played by Sedeff Adasi, SNC Crew, Burial Soil, Viikatory and Millium to name a few. 
This year he is focusing again on his live performance with high energy breakbeat music and you should keep your eyes and ears pealed for what is to comes next.

Ayant passé régulièrement les 10 dernières années tant devant que derrière le booth, Vighil est tout sauf un étranger des espaces sonores. Aujourd'hui cofondateur d'Ablette Records, il continue de sélectionner et de créer des montagnes russes sonores à la fois puissantes et délicates. Dans cette fable, morceaux ambient et décalés, grooves dubby et basses brumeuses ont été son fil rouge.

Having spent the last 10 years regularly in front or behind the booth, Vighil has become no stranger to sound spaces. Today as a co-founder of the store Ablette Records, he continues to selects and create powerful yet delicate sonic roller coasters. In this fable, ambient, off-beat tracks, dubby grooves and hazy basses were his red thread.

Dian Nao Xin (fka as One Child Policy) is the sonic moniker of Dennis Ruowei Cao / 曹偌伟 , a Los Angeles based music producer, sound designer, DJ, and software engineer. Cao was raised by two electrical engineers brought up in China; they helped spark his fascination with electronic music at a very early age. 

His breakthrough debut, ​Cultural Transmissions​, released in November 2017, delivered a unique take on atmospheric techno, electro, acid and left-field house. It caught the attention of publications such as Resident Advisor, Mixmag and XLR8R. 

Soon after he released on labels such as Black Lodge (LA) , Guangzhou Underground (Guangzhou, China), and Arca's Mutants Mixtape. He runs an online radio show on Lower Grand Radio (Oakland) and has also appeared on various radio stations such as Rinse FM, NTS, The Lot Radio, Dublab, Currents.FM and others.
In late 2020, he started an electronic label called Dian Nao (电脑, “electronic brain”) with his latest EP It Mirrored Me (它反映了我), which garnered support on Apple Music editorial and Magnetic Mag.

His hybrid DJ sets explore a wide range of moody emotions and introspection through futuristic, psychedelic, hauntingly beautiful and melancholic strains of electronic music.
