El jazz básicamente se convierte en una herramienta estructural y sonora que se mezcla fácilmente con cualquier otro ritmo, en este caso con ritmos colombianos y del folclor latinoamericano, generando atmósferas reconocibles dentro de nuestra identidad. En formato de cuarteto: batería, contrabajo piano y voz; la cumbia, el mapale y el currulao entre otros  hacen parte de esta fiesta sonora.
