Nevena Stankovic aka Tsunamica is a digger, selector, vinyl collector, journalist, radio host, DJ, party starter... but above all, an absolute music lover with a PhD in Political Science from Belgrade, Serbia.
Her interest in music began very early, as a child, she started to play the piano and completed music school. Her love for music developed rapidly as well as modern technology, the piano was soon replaced by turntables and music consoles. 

If we have to choose a word that represents her style and vision, that would be “eclectic”. She plays whatever suits her at the moment, her sound is seductive that goes from the most elegant downtempo and chillout to deep hypnotic and Balearic beats. Passing through a slow-burning cosmic disco, acid house, and freaky space sounds ‘till explosive Italo bombs and late 70s and 80s the wildest disco and Yugo jewels which is resulting in a cosmic mixture that makes her sets a real interplanetary experience.

She likes to blend genres and epochs, strong beats with smooth acid-tinged melodies, traditional and ethnic with modern and tribal sounds. Her exotic downtempo and slo-mo selections are influenced by a multitude of cultures from around the world. A fusion of musical styles and her solar mood are always keeping her in good vibes and well connected with the club crowds, whilst the club scene is paying attention to what comes next on her turntables. 

DJ-ing for more than 10 years and involved in the underground music scene for over 15 years, there are no Dj names of the scene's prime movers and shakers that she has not been involved alongside with them in some way - hosting, djing, promoting.
Inspired and learned from the best such as Jose Padilla, DJ Harvey, Todd Terje, Derrick Carter, Andrew Weatherall, Sean Johnston, Phil Mison, Kenneth Bager, Gilles Peterson, Beppe Loda, Daniele Baldelli, Felix Dickinson, Curses, Cosmo Vitelli, Manfredas, Scott Fraser, Richard Sen, Justin Strauss, Juan MacLean, Eric Duncan, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed and many more, her selections and mixing are skillful, recognizable and very unique, guided by the heart.
Currently, she is broadcasting a weekly radio show about Balearic and chillout music, named The Sunset Lovers on Ibiza radio, where she is showcasing regular mixes from high-caliber guests. She is also hosting another resident show 'Cosmic Carousel' on radio D59B, where she is presenting more obscure cosmic disco records taking her audience on real intergalactic journeys.

Sinchi & Friends  127 comes from one our favourite producers of the moment .... Chinaski (@southofmouth).  Stefan has been delivering bomb after bomb over the recent years and made a killer remix for us (the Sinchi label) last year for 'Je Palpite' which you can check out via SC or Bandcamp.  With the restrictions this past year, he's been locked in the studio and we're excited to hear new music coming up on the likes of Live at Robert Johnson and Dischi Autunno in the new future. Creator of one of the first French electronic webradio show back in 2005, intimate parties organizer back then, now acting as a music columnist at StarWax magazine, he’s been evolving as a dj from free parties’ hardcore in 2000 to electro and slow techno more recently. Some whisper he likes gardening as much as djing. He’s Le Pépiniériste.

Tireless sound digger, eclectic selector with punk-rock, post-punk, funk and new wave influences, he’s been delivering wicked electro, nu disco or trancy sets on French Slow is the New Fast or Lithuanian Electric Shapes podcasts since 2014. He likes to kick asses. He’s Horseshit.

Both crave for exploring sound, experimenting, creating surprise, blending musical styles, switching from heavy guitar riffs to hypnotic infrabass, from contemplation to dance.

They virtually met in 2020 thanks to Slow is the New Fast podcast and enjoyed so much each other selections that they decided to join forces for a 2 hour bewitching back to back dj set.
