When Gary and Jaime invited Dave and I to contribute I know we were both excited. The end result is an extended epic with the four of us creating different but complimentary moods, I feel. Thanks to Jaime and Dave for their unique interpretations and to Gary for his imagination, skill and soundsculpting.

Electronic instruments and SG guitar

Cynocephaly means having the head of a dog as in ancient Egyptian beliefs and medieval depictions. A Byzantine misinterpretation of 'Cananeus' (Canaanite) made the connection with the word 'canine'. This resulted in the depiction of the Canaanite St. Christopher as dog-headed. One German bishop portrayed him as a giant, barking, man-eating cynocephalus who repented after meeting the Christ-child and was transformed.

Listen closely and all shall be revealed. Working on meditative field recording and improvisational music using non-instruments the turning those sounds into production in the studio. Adding themes where necessary.
