1997 kam Oliver Zulliger durch die legendären Tapes zur Trancemusik und besuchte im selben Jahr seinen ersten Rave im Nachtwerk Thun. Von da an lies im der Trance keine Ruhe mehr und er stellte sich vor selber hinter den Plattenspielern zu stehen. So schaffte er sich 1998 zusammen mit DJ Hypernova sein erstes Equipment an. Nach vielen Übungsstunden im Übungsraum folgten dann die ersten kleinen Auftritte an Privatpartys. Ab 1999 folgten dann die ersten Bookings für Clubs und Raves. Von da an war DJ Spaceman resident im Club The Dawn im Stufenbau Ittigen und anschliessend noch resident an der Afterhour im Bierhübeli Underground. Von 2006 bis 2012 legte DJ Spaceman dann eine Pause ein um sich Beruflich weiter zu bilden. Der Trance lies in aber nie los und so spielt er seit 2012 wieder gelegentlich an Party’s. Ab 2017 startet er ein Projekt mit Kollegen und begann mit dem Produzieren von Trance.
