At the heart of Arcko Symphonic Ensemble is the question: what happens to a piece of music once it has been premiered? 

Whilst not precluding the idea of premiering new works or performing the odd foreign piece, Arcko is proud to be performing Australian works for a second and subsequent time. The name is a hybrid of two words: arco - to bow a stringed instrument, and ark, as in Noah's Ark. It is Timothy's intention that Arcko establishes and preserves Australian works for future generations (hence Ark); also, that it would create an arch between canonic, established, and emerging Australian composers. 

As a skilled conductor, percussionist and passionate advocate of Australian music, Phillips draws on his extensive training in Australia and Germany, as well as his vast knowledge of the repertoire collected through years of performing in his homeland and abroad with orchestras, new music ensembles, conductors, composers, chamber music projects, as a solo performer and with performance troupes. Arcko Symphonic Ensemble sees all these elements combine into an organic and vibrant musical experience.

Synthgirl I-rena - an independent darkpop composer, singer and performer from Lithuania. 

Having an extraordinary vocals, sometimes called as a legacy of Lisa Gerrard, Synthgirl finds her own sound by colliding ethnic folk, one of the oldest languages in the world - lithuanian, and electronics from old retro era. Thou, the composer finds an attractive contemporary way to mix all these components in to a beautiful soundscape.
