As night drips violet over the city, the children glide through chaos like rivers of chrome, voices humming in unison, hearts in sync with the rhythm of survival. They navigate a world that often tries to crush them, yet within their minds, they are architects of wonder, their candy paint dreams illuminating the darkness, teaching that even in a broken land, the soul can still breathe.

Through every hardship, every shadow, they continue to dream, to gleam, to shine, not seeking crowns or kings, but simply claiming the power to turn sorrow into light. In the midst of decay, they are unseen monarchs of a world they’ve created, and their candy paint dreams endure, a testament to the resilience of imagination, hope, and joy.

"The initial inspiration for the track was FFD being in the UK - I was a 90's raver traveling to (UK) venues like S.E.ONE, Brixton Academy & Sanctuary warehouse regularly. We drew inspiration from these memories of 'back in the day' to start with, then put our spin on things with a bit of analog synth and drum machine business to finish up" Dave from DiCE said. DiCE are a duo based in AKL and pack a solid musical pedigree. Christiaan aka Crispy Fresh has been at the cutting edge of NZ hop-hop, R&B and house since before the internet and was one half of House of Downtown. Dave sets the British mode. After moving to NZ from UK he's been dropping funk, disco and noughties references DJing at clubs across the city and various local radio airwaves. Chur bros!
