For years, monsters have been sealed away by a powerful spell. With their hopes smashed, their people demoralized, and their ruler in dismay, many have given up trying to break the spell to return. Ceroba Kestukane, the secret strength of the Wild East, arrived at the tournament with a gaze that Meta Knight immediately knew as unbreakable. For her, the stakes have never been higher.
