The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Adam Sellouk and YLM with their take on Post Malone’s ‘Hollywood Bleeding’. Hailing from Israel, Adam Sellouk first emerged in 2021 with a contribution to Steyoyoke’s Paradigm collection. Immediately recognized for his astral sound, Adam quickly caught the attention of world class DJ Miss Monique, who signed him to her Siona Records imprint for a two-track showcase later that same year. Melodic house and techno tastemakers Agents of Time, Innellea, Kevin de Vries and Mathame were the first to chime in with support, as subsequent releases via Eleatics, Purified and UPPERGROUND followed across the next two calendar years. Seemingly in constant motion ever since, 2024 has proved to be a breakout year for Adam, adding Afterlife, Stimulate and Tomorrowland to his release resume, as well as touring the world showcasing his impeccable taste and exquisite programming skills. Meanwhile, fellow countryman and Tale of Us favourite YLM arrives fresh off a contribution to ERRROR’s ‘WRRONG TRACKS’ collection from July. With past reworks of Empire Of The Sun, Skrillex, Fred again.. & Flowdan, Adam now teams up with YLM to put their magical production touch on Post Malone’s ‘Hollywood Bleeding’. As the title track on the band’s 2019 album, ‘Hollywood Bleeding’ would go on to rack up well over five hundred million streams on Spotify, while the LP would achieve a litany of successes, most notably winning best album at the American Music and Billboard Music Awards. As played by Argy, AVIRA and Tale Of Us; Sellouk and YLM’s elusive take on ‘Hollywood Bleeding’ became a much requested rework across the last calendar year, one which we’re now happy to offer as a free download. After years in the making, we are beyond excited to unveil one of the most anticipated releases in the history of Universal Tribe Records, a project that pays tribute to the legacy of a modern classic while breathing new life into its story.

Originally sparked during Freedom Fighters’ debut tour of Australia, Australiens quickly evolved into an iconic collaboration with progressive techno powerhouses Martin Vice & Michael Banel (MVMB). The track was later released in 2016 as part of MVMB’s debut album on Iboga Records, capturing a moment in time that merged the raw, open energy of the Australian scene with an international touch of cinematic psychedelia.

Now, nine years on, we’ve been granted the rare opportunity to reimagine this masterpiece with a signature Universal Tribe twist. What has emerged is a remix compilation that honours the past while surging forward, a curated celebration of Bush Prog brought to life by some of Australia’s most respected pioneers and the next generation of sonic storytellers, artists known for delivering the finest sounds our scene has to offer.

Featuring transformative remixes by Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Scionaugh, and Doonz, this release brings a fresh, driving perspective to a timeless track, layered, deep, and completely dialled in to the unique rhythm of the Australian bush.
