Bo Diddley's Groove

Didley Duo is a Diddley Bow and Percussion band from Brazil. Formed by Breno Teixeira and João Kolachinski on the road since 2016, the Brazilian Duo has been arousing great interest about their unusual music and instruments. 

The band brings to you the good old Blues sound with original songs played in self-made instruments called Diddley Bows.  
“The Diddley Bow is a single-stringed American instrument which influenced the development of the Blues sound. It consists of a single string of baling wire tensioned between two nails on a board over a glass bottle, which is used both as a bridge and as a means to magnify the instrument's sound.
It was traditionally considered a starter or children's instrument in the Deep South, especially in the African American community, and is rarely heard outside the rural South, but it may have been influenced to some degree by West African instruments.”

So, just imagine if the Diddley Bow didn’t stop in time and continue to evolve through the years until now, than mix these rural Blues and Country sounds with Rock N' Roll. That’s Didley Duo. 
A new drapery for the old original Roots Blues sound. They created a unique identity, as well as the balance of their sound that is at once smooth, danceable, and engaging.
