'Wolves’ will be the 1st single from Digitalism that puts the band in a very different place to anything previously released. The last communication from Digitalism marked the beginning of this new direction in the form of a Soundcloud-Only release at the start of 2014. This statement of intent will not relent; 2014 will be The Year of surprises for Digitalism fans, with ‘Wolves’ being the first official release to subscribe to it.

For many fans ‘Wolves’ might seem long over-due, having premiered as the opening track of their Boiler Room DJ set during !Melt Festival, 2013. Since then the band kept an eye on their Socials and the comments, watching the fan-bases’ curiosity naturally grow. The 2nd time ‘Wolves’ was unleashed was once more a opening track for their much-lauded ‘I Love Techno’ DJ Set in December 2013. This time it caused a flurry of fan-driven YouTube videos, since which, each time the band post a new DJ set or link to previous ones, fans ask over again for the release of ‘Wolves.’

Well we are finally prepared to let it go. Why? Again we come to the new direction the band have entered, their music at the heart of it. The first months of 2014 were spent writing in LA and producing new music, road testing demos and ideas at their Twice Monthly East-LA Warehouse parties. The reaction to these shows was incredible, with each of the 4 dates selling-out way in advance, but still queues around the bloc on the nights. In fact the reaction on one date was catastrophic, receiving a Police enforced shut-down with a small army and not one, but two helicopters. Sorry Tax Payers! Since these dates the excitement has been infectious and the results have finally convinced Digitalism that they have a raft of releases to get-out between now and the start of 2015. So let’s go…

Endangered Techno Podcast - Episode 004 with Ken Ishii in the mix - 06.08.2015

Exposure to the likes of Hardfloor, Thomas P Heckmann and other European artists expanded his allready diverse musical taste. A chance listening to the now classic recording of Jeff Mills' dj set from the Liquid Room in Tokyo firmly entrenched Javier's interests in Techno and fueled his need to explore the genre further.

2001 Javier began working on his own productions under the alias CementO and has been refining his sound since then, catching the attention of UDZ Records and Prologic Records, two Brazilian dance labels who enlisted his services to remix some of their releases.

In the last couple of years CementO's hard work and diligence has paid off with his productions coming to the attention of a multitude of techno imprints. Musikpropaganda Label in Germany, and the Kidnapping Netlabel situated in Argentina, have both been impressed enough with Javier's production skill and sound architecture to add him to their artist roster, signing EPs and albums in the process, with other labels looking at CementO remixes to augment their release catalogues.

Auster, was born on the 4th of January 1985 in Linz, Austria, and grew up in Gallspach City. The artist name "Auster" came out from the last 3 letters of his real name, KL- AUS WÖRIS- TER.

After almost a year before he got that artist name, he started on a small but really nice program which is Ableton. Since that moment he was totally caught and fascinated of these programs. He had a very good and professional assistance that helped him to broaden his horizon with the Ableton.

Since he was young, his life was always accompanied by music and he had settled down very quickly in "Ableton Live World" where he found out that his strength is the Synthesizer and he improved that more and more up to the perfection.

My goal is to make extraordinary melodies and stamping beats, not only to invite people to dance but also leave a constant good impression wherever he plays.

Patrick Keane (Tap Newo) is a 21-year-old techno producer currently at university studying audio engineering. The music he produces, he says, is inspired mainly by the warehouse district of Downtown Los Angeles, and has the "overall industrial feel of the area," he adds. "It is always my goal to bring out the grime and grit of Downtown LA through my productions."

Manuel Lauro (FAZEmag), BIO
In 1994 Manuel Lauro decided to quit the rave scene, which he participated in his youth in Germany throughout the twist of commercialisation in music. He decided to run an underground techno label called Turntable Tools shortly after he successfully quit high school. During this time he played as DJ where he used turntables at Musiktheater, now called 130 BPM, in Kassel. After a break when he successfully studied law science with a degree and becoming lawyer he got back into the techno scene 2010 visiting Mayday, Twenty Young, and shortly after that helping the crew of Raveline Magazine founding German FAZEmag.
He restarted his DJ-career in Berlin @ the Old Magdalena Club, where he played at the closing. Open Air Gigs were @ Lichtpark Berlin. He also played several gigs in Cologne @ Warehouse(Essigfabrik, Elektroküche) and also @ Butan Club Wuppertal. He managed it to the main stage of the 6th Berlin Summer Rave @ Flughafen Tempelhof Berlin to the International Warehouse meets Bonzai Stage as DJ alongside his live project 'Goldstream' teaming up with his Partner King Brain. After that he played the Opening @ 1st Parookaville Warehouse Stage Airport Weeze and the opening in the New Magdalena Club in Berlin followed by another gig.
At German FAZEmag he began to write Music Reviews for the last several years until today, getting lots of actual Promos from each state of the Art Techno Labels all around the World.
He produced several bootlegs in order to play his unique sound which can be described as powerful straight forward Techno. The digital Relaunch of the Label 'Turntable Tools' is pending to spread this unique sound.
