Jem and the holograms remixed

Now without typewriter and actually 'calling the shots' not 'c__lling the shots' like in any other version I've heard of this song. These are the little details that make remastering and restoring a song so fun. 
I always considered the song quite motivational, but a little boring. Could be because it was quite flat everytime I've heard it. 
I tried to give it a nice dynamic and added a little bass to make it sound fuller, the rest is magic.

I was afraid to remaster this a little, because seeing Kimber in my mind remembering her father from her youth was very, maybe too close to home for me.

Jem & The Holograms - Something Is Missing In My Life (Kai Woodland Mix)

Didn't think it was possible to remove all the sound effects, but yeah, it was possible. This took me some serious recutting in both the voice and the instrumental tracks. Because no one ever heard the original intro to the song, I invented some notes to clear up the beginning. I'm no musician so forgive me. Enjoy :)

Since this is almost an acapella, I used different techniques this time to get the best out of the track. Recutting a guitar instrumental to remove sound effects wasn't the funniest thing to do. :)

Laura - Alone Again (Kai Woodland Mix)

I admit it's not the best quality, but then the source was in worse condition than I thought. I'm a little proud I managed to get the cheering out of the instrumental. That part was quite patched together. I'm glad it doesn't really show ;)

Jem & The Holograms - KJEM (Kai Woodland Mix)

Quite the effect overload. I didn't even try to remove any of them, there were just too many, so I left them all in. :)

The Misfits - Abracadabra (Kai Woodland Mix)

Even though the instrumental came from the masters, there was quite a bit of recutting to bring it to the length of the Rhino version. With about 1:40 min this should be the longest Jem song in the series. I'm not sure if I will upload a shorter version some other time. Enjoy! :)

This one was a little short so I 'enhanced' it a tiny bit. Prepare to worship the queen and have the palm leaves ready. Also make sure to wear headphones for this complete mastertape mix ;)

By the way, I just hope people who rip off other peoples hard work, and post them as their own without giving any credit, rot in hell real soon. :)

Usually I upload different versions of one song on the same day, anyway this one needed a little more cooking.
This time I edited some ambiance in, instead of out, to give it a "live" feeling, and bring it closer to the version of the show. But this time the transition from the intro to the song is on beat. The version of the episode wasn't. I hope this sounds like one piece. :)
