"Electrostep," Bill Youngman's 1996 release on Serotonin Records stands as a testament to one man's love of electro beats. Cutting, splicing and rearranging beats, he crafted an idealized rendition of electronica, much as Drum and Bass producers did with funk breaks. "Electrostep II" followed a year later, further developing the idea.

Always responding to the times, Youngman found his passion for drum computers and analog machines after years of classical training in guitar and drums. He moved to Berlin in 2001, in search of the perfect beat. There, he became involved with the experimental techno scene, looking for new ways to push the boundaries of music. Along the way he has collaborated with Jamie Lidell, Neil Landstrumm, Cristian Vogel, and Tobias Schmidt.

Today, Youngman presents his high-energy act worldwide, performing in front of audiences ready for an artist who will truly engage them. Dropping beats like bombs and weaving tsunamis of synth lines, he tops off his abstract and off-kilter techno sounds with authentic NYC hip hop elements: beat-boxing, freestyling and hyping up the crowd on the mic. Unlike your average DJ, this man doesn't look like he could be checking emails up in the booth.

Youngman has additional releases on DC Recordings, Null, Tresor, Serotonin and Scandinavia.

Emma ist eine Techno Djane die seit etwa einem Jahr in der Berliner Techno Szene unterwegs ist. Schon früh entdeckte Sie Ihre Leidenschaft für elektronische Musik. Durch ihre druckvollen und treibenden Sounds hat sie sich in der kurzen Zeit einen Namen gemacht und konnte dadurch auf mehreren angesagten Events ihr Können unter Beweis stellen! Das Fundament ihrer Sets besteht aus den knallharten Klängen der typischen Berliner-Underground Techno Szene. Ebenso strukturiert sie diese mit massiven Basslinien. Dadurch entsteht ein unglaublicher Vibe auf der Tanzfläche.
Als sie das erste mal die Magie des Djings erlebte, begann Ihre Reise. Jeder Track, jede Melodie, jeder Mix und jeder Auftritt hat sie  geformt und zu der Künstlerin gemacht, die sie heute ist. 

Seit dem ersten Auftritt vor ca. einem Jahr, sieht sie die Bühne als eine Chance noch mehr Energie und Liebe zur Musik mit anderen zu teilen. Die positiven Feedbacks und die ständige Weiterentwicklung treiben sie an, immer weiter zu gehen.
Ihr Sound ist eine Reise durch pulsierende Rhythmen, hypnotische Melodien und überraschende Harmonien.

Die Reise hat gerade erst begonnen! Im kommenden Jahr plane ich, meine Musik auf neue Ebenen zu heben, kreative Kollaborationen einzugehen und meine Beats mit der Welt zu teilen. Bleibt dran, denn die besten Beats kommen noch!

Emma - A Rising Techno DJ

Emma is a techno DJ who has been part of the Berlin techno scene for about a year. She discovered her passion for electronic music early on. With her powerful and driving sounds, she has made a name for herself in a short time, proving her skills at several renowned events.

The foundation of her sets lies in the raw, hard-hitting sounds of the typical Berlin underground techno scene. She structures these with massive basslines, creating an incredible vibe on the dancefloor.

Her journey began when she first experienced the magic of DJing. Every track, every melody, every mix, and every performance has shaped her into the artist she is today.

Since her first gig about a year ago, she sees the stage as an opportunity to share even more energy and love for music with others. The positive feedback and constant growth drive her to keep pushing forward.

Her sound takes listeners on a journey through pulsating rhythms, hypnotic melodies, and surprising harmonies.

The journey has just begun! In the coming year, I plan to take my music to new heights, pursue creative collaborations, and share my beats with the world. Stay tuned because the best beats are yet to come!
