Minor Euphoria

We are very proud to welcome to our talent roster of international DJ's and producers Oyibo (Tim Cornelissen) on our label. 
Born in Amsterdam, Oyibo (Tim Cornelissen) started producing electronic music in the late nineties. At that time he released trance tracks under the aliases Cygnific and Aerodrome at labels like Spinnin' Records in the Netherlands. His tracks were frequently played by DJ's like Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten. Tim has been producing music ever since but his style moved away from trance and made its way up to progressive and deep house. 

A while ago Tim moved to Lagos, Nigeria. In the music loving country of Fela Kuti and Afrobeats it's hard not to get inspired. You will often find Oyibo jamming with fellow artists in one of Lagos many studios, blending all kinds of music styles together. This is unmistakably has its effect on his tracks.

He is kicking off his debut on our label with a beautiful, atmospheric and powerful track which crosses the Afro House, Progressive House and Melodic Techno genre. The track starts off with versatile percussion elements (marimba, congas, bongos, wood) and a powerful kick followed by a multilayered synthscape and progressive synth bassline. Increasing the tension and progression the track results in its first break playing with those ambient snyhs and percussive sound FX. 

After the drop the song continues it's powerful journey and results in an exhilarating climax giving you the feeling to just fly free as a bird.

Never content to rest on his laurels, Anske closes out his 2019 palette with a special three-track EP, highlighted by his In Search of Sunrise 15 inclusive Space Howl.

The leading track has all the hallmarks of an ISOS inclusion - brimming with emotion, and provides the perfect gateway when transitioning from progressive to trance in a longer set.

Space Howl is complimented by Back in Time - a gorgeous and groovy melodic piece where the bassline does the work - and Mistika, which has the qualities associated with his big room trance sounds.

All in all, it's a fine end to Anske's 2019 output. Take your pick.

As 2019 draws to a close, Coldharbour is proud to present one of its biggest anthems of the entire year; by one of the most in-form producers across the trance spectrum this year. The wait is finally over, and Daxson's much sought after Sonder has arrived.

Debuted by Markus Schulz during his performance at A State of Trance 900 in Madrid, Sonder quickly became one of the most eagerly anticipated IDs in his sets for many years. Its identity was kept under wraps for a good reason; earmarked specifically to play an essential role in the heralded In Search of Sunrise 15 compilation.

And following on from his hugely successful original Culture Shock, it caps off what has been a seismic 2019 for Daxson; because along with the latter, Sonder will go down as one of Coldharbour's much-loved anthems in its history.

It has been another stellar year in the musical adventure of Arkham Knights, and they close out their 2019 offering with one of their uncompromising signatures, in the form of Renegade.

Building upon their appraised Fall from Innocence EP, alongside festival smash Knightvision, the Turner brothers were called upon Markus Schulz to add some dark, uplifting sizzle to his In Search of Sunrise 15 story.

Renegade fit the bill perfectly, and for the extended version, with some devilish tech-trance as an outer core. Lighting up the festival season in Asia and Australia, as well as the peak hours of the clubs in winter, it caps off another big year for Arkham Knights.

SO happy to finally have this song out! The edm community in Denmark is close to nonexistent, so I’m happy and thankful to be a part of the Riotville family, and make sure that edm stays alive in here. 
I hope you will enjoy “Dissever”. I want to make it clear that I’m not heading in a new direction with this song; it’s just another side to my music. 
I don’t want to ever feel locked to a specific genre, so I hope you can still hear it’s me when I try new things!
