Two big influences of mine for the longest time have been 90s gangster rap and mainstream hardcore. Since first discovering mainstream hardcore as a very young teen, I've always wanted to try my hand at making something of this style-- something dark, gritty, and gangster as fuck. Now that my production abilities are at a certain level, I finally feel confident that I can scratch that itch & do this style justice. Not to mention the melody for this track had been stuck in my mind for several months. When an idea for a track sticks around for that long, that's how you know you have to make it a reality.
