Die zwei Bananen, die die Hauptrollen spielen, nennen sich kurz B1 und B2. Sie sind zwar nicht besonders schlau, scheinen aber immer gute Ideen zu entwickeln und sehr kreativ zu sein. Der traditionelle Ausspruch der Sendung ist der Satz: „Denkst du auch, was ich denke, B1?“ Darauf antwortet dann B1: „Ich glaub schon, B2!“ Daraufhin rufen sie beide im Chor: „Jetzt wird gefeiert!“

Bananas in Pyamas sind lustig anzusehen – das dachten wir auch! 

Zwei BANANIS machen sich auf eine Reise…sorry, zu viel Herr der Ringe an Weihnachten gesehen, aber nein, mal im Ernst - manchmal kommt es eben wie es kommen muss und es finden BANANIS zusammen, die zusammen gehören. Die BANANIS teilen nicht nur Decks und Mixer sowie die Leidenschaft zur elektronischen Musik, Feierkultur und eben diesen ganzen fantastischen Wahnsinn. Sie hängen bereits ihr halbes Bananenleben zusammen ab. Denn sie sind nicht nur beste Freunde und ein verdammt bananiges Team, sondern auch verliebert-verheiratete Früchtchen.  

Während Jan bereits seit den frühen 2000dern hinter, aber natürlich auch vor den Decks, zu finden ist, reifte bei Caro nach unzähligen Stunden auf den Tanzbrettern, die die Technowelt bedeuten, erst 2023 der Wunsch, sich auch mal an den Plattentellern im heimischen Wohnzimmer zu versuchen. Nach reichlich Beatsalat wurde die Idee 2024 dann Wirklichkeit und die BANANIS erblickten das Licht der Welt. Kurz drauf folgten die ersten Gigs in Osnabrücker Cafes und Clubabenden. 
Geprägt wurden die beiden Früchtchen von 2 Jahrzehnten Technokultur. Die so über die Jahre erhaltenen Einflüsse und gesammelten Eindrücke prägen natürlich auch den Sound der Beiden, der aus einer Mischung dancefloolastiger, groovig bis knarziger Techhouse und Indiedance Episoden und souligen House-Stücken besteht. Am Ende geht es aber weniger um Genres, als um das passende Gefühl, genau diesen Track an diesem Ort zu genau dieser Zeit zu spielen. Kurz gesagt: Halt geile Mucke 4 to the floor mit bisschen Herz und so ihr Zuggermäuse, aber seriös 😉
