Multi-instrumentalist, born 1979 and involved in music since early 90's.
Started in piano school and shared interest in drumming. Since my parents were not happy with drumming in my room, tried guitar and voila! found my main instrument.

Formed first band around 1993 with drummer Davor Radovec called "Decorator" which later grew in beast called "Deaf Auditorium", did couple of songs together but parted ways because of mutual misunderstanding and goals.

Somewhere 1997 formed my first heavy metal band "Pro-Maya" and wrote all songs, except lyrics which were written by Marko Curman (Cuki). First real studio recording with band was late 1999 named Tales of warning. Due to crazy circumstances in life Band disbanded somewhere 2003.

Since than played as session guitarist/bassist when needed for recordings or live performances. Like playing with "Forlorn Legacy" while their bass player served army for a year for live shows. Played in multiple genre bands from punk, rock, metal, jazz mostly either guitar or bass. Also working in studio Memphis in Zagreb as tonmeister/sound engineer. With sometimes working on movies/documentaries as sound recordist.

In 2010 formed 2 man experimental improvisational metal-jazz-noise band "qb" with legend Marko Martinovic (Bik) as drummer, where we experimented with sound. And we got crazy singer Sasa Jungic (Jungla). 

Around 2014 joined Soundcloud and was interested in improvisational music. I would find drums beat from various artists on youtube and improvised guitars and bass. Challenge was to record every instrument in just one take without any post production makeup or hiding errors, mostly done in Garage Band. Fun journey that lasted about 2 years, and after I moved to Norway in search for better job my music got radio silent and did not play much for about 5 years.

By beginning of 2023 realised that music is big part of my life and came back into playing, but with more serious take on composing, songwriting and production. Broke silence with song Waves and continuing to investigate dwellings of sound and emotion. 

My music taste goes all the way around and trying to collide genres to reveal god particle, still considering music that I do as experimental form. Hardly being able to stick to one genre.

Darmar with some literal translation from Croatian means chaos. Name kinda fits music style.
