The compilation features a collaboration of various artists from all over the world, all coming together at a common Junction. Historically, the Junction series has been the perfect way for us to round up fresh faces that display a remarkable production prowess and diverse taste in their specialty. This compilation boasts elements that cater to the wider electronic audience. Diego Barrera is a young DJ and producer from Peru living in Miami (via a stint in Argentina). Deep Dish's Sharam gave him his recording debut in 2018, and since then, he has not looked back, signing tracks with heavy-hitting imprints like Rawsome and Whoyostro. His debut for us was the driving Latin Tech of "Libertad", a song that was slept on by many but still found a home in the DJ sets of serious tastemakers like DJ Tennis, Carlita, Latmun, Iglesias & CID. With "Kofumba", he heads into Afro-house territory, teaming up with a Cameroonian vocalist who, despite wanting to fly under the radar in terms of being featured, has delivered a brilliantly rhythmic vocal that partners Barrerra's percussive groove perfectly. Diego has felt a strong attraction to electronic music since he was very young. In 2012, at the age of 13, he started DJing and producing his own tracks. In 2015, having celebrated his 16th birthday, he has realized his growth as an artist, producing with people all over the world and selling tracks on international labels and in many platforms such as Beatport, iTunes, Spotify, and more. 

At the moment he is part of Project Media in Peru, an institution dedicated to educating, developing and promoting the next generation of electronic producers in the nation. Innovating with every new track, he creates his own original music with influences of Deep & Tech House.
