Galantis & Hook N Sling - Love On Me (Madison Mars Remix)

From 21st to 28th of January 2012, the “ALORS ON LE FAIT” NGO (Saclay, France) has organized an international training course about the transmission of traditional European music, thanks to the EU program Grundtvig funding and the "Ethno" international network and Youth Cultural Center from Villebin-sur-Yvette.

24 musicians from 11 European countries have met during 8 days. Each one has taught the others one tune or song of traditional/folk music of his/her country, his/her region with the aim of keeping alive the musical heritage of Europe. From "teachers" to "students" during this training course, the musicians have exchanged part of their tradition, their views and methods of transmission and arrangements to create a common ground for exchange.

2 concerts, in Evry Conservatoire and Villebon-sur-Yvette Youth Cultural Center, were the visible tip of the iceberg of 8 days of music and intercultural sharings.

Serenade for Strings - Tchaicovsky  Vals

This is my remix for Seven Lions track "Days to Come" (which features vocals from Fiora) for this month's Beatport Remix Competition. 

I wanted to introduce my 'M4 Monster' and contrast it with the angelic vocals of Fiora. The track is basically a battle of 'beauty and the beast' with a style that I think reflects OWSLA and my direction in music.

This is an original composition performed live on two Novation Launchpads in User 1 mode. The two MIDI controllers are playing original samples in a sequence to create the sound. The right hand controls most of the tuneful sounds whilst the left hand is responsible for keeping in time, playing a custom drum kit and various FX and vocal loops.

M4SONIC - Virus (Live Launchpad Original)

This piece is an instrumental four beats Bourrée (traditional french dance for couples) as prevalent in Artense and Limousin. The title means "We will stall, we won’t stall." Many versions exist, sometimes in very different ways. Calarem, calarem pa is also known as "Tarira, tarira pas", that mean "Will dry up, won’t dry up."
