I'm inspired by growing up in a multi-cultural family, playing classical piano for 7 years, life-long dancing and music-collecting, 20 years of traveling, and an extensive study, practice, and teaching of tantric yoga, personal development and conscious business.

I weave traditional, popular, organic and electronic music from cultures and ethnic groups around the world into dance journeys that invoke the mystic, the lover and the animal within us.

 "Joy, Embodiment and Connection through Dance"

Après le succès du premier album « La Vida se Vive » et une tournée réussie en Europe, la Kumbia Boruka, toujours emmenée par le tandem Hernan Cortes et Bob Sikou, présente un nouvel album intitulé « El Remedio ».

On retrouve  la fraîcheur dansante de l’accordéon, la générosité vibrante du chant, le son rock, la résonance psychés des machines, le dynamisme des cuivres, et une puissante rythmique colorée. 

La substance thématique est universelle avec des textes qui dénoncent l’injustice de nos sociétés et interprètent l’amour comme un antidote infaillible à la souffrance, tout en garantissant  une invitation à la danse.  

La collaboration artistique donne une reconnaissance légitime au son de cet album. 
Ainsi, Philippe Teboul alias « Garbancito » apporte sa touche « underground » et Victor-Attila Vagh amène une dimension plus actuelle.
C’est également dans les studios d’Alfonso «Poncho » Herrera à Monterrey, bastion de la cumbia mexicaine, que l’album est définitivement validé.

« El Remedio » de la Kumbia Boruka se définit donc une authentique prescription musicale capable de lutter efficacement contre les signes symptomatiques de nos maux.
