Demonstrating the possibility of the smooth sample and hold patch on the Random*Source Smooth/Stepped Generator. Hold comes from Channel 1 of Maths EOR in cycle mode, Smooth rate all the way CW.

The sequencer CV that is going into Smooth In plays at first on a filtered sawtooth wave so you can hear the contrast between the original and the sample and hold, and the sample and hold plays by itself at the end.

My 3rd track for the Eating Cars score, and for FAWM 2018. 

In this scene, Max coldly describes to her ex how she shot her sister in the face.

The scene nicely divides into two pieces, so this track does as well. More calm stuff at the beginning, getting more dramatic as it goes on. 

Prophet 08, piano, Sequential/SIEL Prelude string synth, various effects.

Revisiting an earlier theme, or maybe this will be the earlier scene (a preprise?), but in a more twisted, unsettling way.

All the sounds here are piano, some played normally, and some played manually with fingers or mallet, directly on the strings.

My 14th (and last!) song for FAWM 2018, for the Eating Cars score. I've had this chromatic melody that forms the basis of this floating around in my head for a few weeks now and I was glad I was able to put it to use.

Also heavily used string synth through eurorack modular filter and phaser, with some unusual modulation.

Scent of My Sweater

My first song for FAWM 2019; this year I've rented a viola and I'm doing an album centered around it.

Viola recorded by clip-on contact mic into looper pedal, then routed into into Eurorack effects:  Xaoc Kamieniec phaser, mutable instruments clouds, pittsburgh filter. Various modulation by Maths. 

Soma Lyra-8 running into Sara dual VCF, cutoff modulated by envelope follower on the viola part (via Maths), effectively using the viola part as a sidechain for the Lyra.

VST effects: ValhallaRoom, Audiothing Outer Space delay, PSP compressor/limiter/EQ. Recorded/mixed in Reaper.
