What a nice night it was, seeing friends and new people in the crowd, I could not ask for more energy on the water floor that early morning. I want to share with you a cut from my closing set at Watergate Club. It was so nice partying with you guys till the last second. 
I had to cut it because there were a few tracks that had not yet seen the light of day.

So ich hab es endlich geschafft! Mein Set vom MIT DIR ist oben.  Was haben wir denn da wieder für ein schönes Festival. Alles war dabei, Blut, Schweiß und Tränen. Jedoch haben wir uns wieder selbstübertroffen. Das Feedback der Leute war einfach atemberaubend und dafür machen wir das ! Danke <3

Clear water hits the surface of a grainy ball. The stream slowly dissolves and flows down the spherical structure until it finally drops on a candle. The flame extinguishes; fragile streaks of smoke ascend until they hit the rough surface of the colossal globe again. The cover art to Marble Arch, the second long-player of Vienna- and Berlin-based artists Oberst & Buchner, depicts masterly the dramatic juxtapositions the musicians have always been reflecting in their musical outcome.

The massive density of a giant sound wall is contrasted by spacious openness. Fragile sonic details are sparkling out of colossal pitch-black clouds. The songs are filled with gentle warmth and cold roughness, bright digital clarity and deep analogue crackle, ranging in style from pulsating dark-disco over classic pop to experimental ambient. The duo’s two-week artist residency in a 250-year-old house, located in the mystic landscape of the Bavarian woods set this specific mood for the 10-track album which became a mixture of electronic synthesis, organic instrumentals and field recordings. Heavy-weight basslines in combination with bitter-sweet orchestral instrumentation and the minutiae of precise percussion recordings and drum programming are the characteristics that formed the sound of Marble Arch.

Oberst & Buchner’s way to deal with tension is in how they compose their song structures as extreme arcs of suspense in a near classical manner. Their intense dynamic arrangements always alternate between rise and explosion or implosion and fall. This way the compositions pick up the motive of creation and destruction throughout the long- player in the same way as the cover-art. Taken together, all these fragments form the duo`s signature cinematic articulation of dramatic slowed down club music and moments of surprise.

OhOhOuzo b2b Kataya 🛸𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕒𝕣 𝔻𝕚𝕤𝕔𝕠 ℝ𝕚𝕕𝕖 🚀 Extravaganza 🎪/ Fusion 2022

After witnessing a glorious sunset on the western edge of the forest, Hekske (the little witch) and Falke (the 10 year-old witch apprentice) hurried to the eastern edge of the darkening forest (followed by a parliament of owls), just in time to observe a spellbinding spectacle.  While the planet Mars was already shining brightly over the south-eastern sky, the girls held their breath while the full moon rose majestically over the horizon, making the autumn forest shine in a soft glow.  After singing a few sweet songs dedicated to the moon, the vivacious witches decided to call it a night and returned to their soft bed of moss while thinking back to this beautiful sunny day in which they enjoyed the vivid autumn colors of the leaves all day long.
Meanwhile the temperature plunged rapidly, which brought Hekske and Falke in the mood to cuddle up together under their warm blanket of moss and hay, keeping each other cosy and warm.  The girls snuggled deep under their blanket, and they felt their heartbeats slowing down until they pounded synchronously at exactly the same pace, while their breathing became deeper and more relaxed.  They soon drifted into a blissful sleep.  Then a gentle wind blew some fallen leaves on the blanket of the witches.  Throughout the night, more and more leaves piled up on top of the sleeping beauties.  By an invisible yet irresistible force, all the leaves got pulled to the beating heart of the forest.
When the girls woke up next morning, they realized that they were underneath a huge heap of colorful leaves, 8 feet high.  They also found out that hundreds of ladybugs and cross spiders had snuggled deep into the pile of leaves too, looking for a safe place to hibernate.  The girls enjoyed the pleasant company of all their little friends and were not in a hurry to sneak out of the heap (which they finally did without disrupting all these sweet animals).  After getting out, it appeared that dozens of little spiders had found a comfortable place in Hekske’s brown and Falke’s blond hair.  The hair of a witch is of an incredible softness, but the girls made it clear that their long hair is not a suitable place for hibernation, so they gently shrugged off all the spiders and put them on the side of the pile of leaves, so that they could find a cosy place to spend the winter.
Meanwhile a family of weaver birds was already busy stitching together a new blanket of moss, hay and down feathers, quite a bit thicker than their old summer blanket. Now that the witches’ old bed had been transformed into an insect hotel, it was time to move to a new winter bed of moss…

While most will remember him from one of the countless performances with his well known side projects, only few will be able to recall one of Okaxy's (@ninzeokaxy) rare solo performances. While pulling the strings behind two of Germany's highest-rated and most groundbreaking musical novelties, there was indeed little time remaining to take care of his very own career. Yet, the ones who witnessed an Okaxy show can attest it's irrestible, drawing power on the crowd. We feel very sunshiny about the fact, that despite his plural responsibilities he still had the capacity to provide this current snapshot of his taste in music. It's time now to lean back and revel in this sonic goodliness..
