Dies The Fire are a UK band playing progressive heavy music mixed with many elements incorporating influences from different genres of music to create an eclectic mix designed to take the listener through a series of moods.

The band was originally formed in early 2010 by bassist Darryl Watson and guitarist Rob Coverdale who were disillusioned with the conventional method of song writing and decided to experiment with song structures to achieve an ever-changing, limitless combination of styles giving their material an overall progressive quality.

Over the course of a year, new members were added in the form of guitarist Nick Collins, drummer George Henry and finally vocalist Mark Yates. The various members clicked instantly and brought their skills and experiences from previous bands and their varied influences to the fold to create the organic mix of heaviness and delicacy that the band exhibits in their all-encompassing sound.
