Happy 2015 to all of you, and what better way to see in the New Year but with a new SUNANDBASS Podcast of the highest quality. The words sublime, special, forefront and unique are often banded about, but this mix truly has it in spades.

LTJ Bukem - BBC 6 Tom Ravenscroft Pre Boomtown Fair Mix July 2015

We can't resist a spot of jungle; there's just something about maniacal, time-stretched breaks and foundation-shaking, 808 basslines that brings a smile to our faces and a skip to our steps. So when 'Jungle Music' - Seba's latest effort for his own Secret Operations imprint - landed in the DT inbox, we simply had to have it.

Providing exactly what it says on the tin, 'Jungle Music' offers militant drum-work and a low end that feels like it's plummeting into oblivion, all wrapped up in an silky coat of faded pads and organic samples. The track pays homage to sounds of the mid-90s, but maintains a tight, modern edge. As we're told in a delay-soaked fashion at the very start, this is jungle...

The track is out now along with b-side 'Cloudless', but don't think Seba is resting on his laurels, as the Swede already has another release locked in for this Friday on Warm Communications.
