Embarking on a fresh path as a drum and bass artist, Bristol-based Javeon is the latest signing to join the Shogun Audio roster: https://Javeon.lnk.to/AuraSD

Teaming up with Duskee, Hyroglifics & Fluidity, his debut single on the label, 'Aura', sees him return to his underground roots as a solo artist, whilst incorporating the beguiling R&B-infused vocals that have seen this new chapter of his musical journey become defined by limitless possibilities.

Although his discography isn't yet packed with drum and bass features, Javeon is an artist whose decade in the industry has seen him land a writing credit on Tory Lanez’s platinum album ‘I Told You’, whilst putting out huge pop-house releases through PMR Records and signing for industry legend Fraser T Smith’s publishing company Seventy Hertz back in 2014.

However, this debut single on Shogun Audio sees Javeon embark on a new endeavor. Soulful to its core, teeming with R&B influence, and featuring the elegance of Duskee's delivery and Hyroglifics' crisp production, Javeon's debut on Shogun isn't one that'll be forgotten in a hurry.

Over 2 years in the works, we can finally, and proudly, present the Leniz debut album: Perceptions of Reality.

Even though Leniz is still young and made his start when he was even younger, he's been to many places and has had a lot of experiences. Like many others, he's been through personal ups and downs. He achieved new goals and set new targets, met and said goodbye to people, places and chapters in his life. When writing this album, he took inspiration from all of these moments, creating a single comprehensive piece of work spanning several genres, moods and tempos. On top of that, there are several top-notch collaborations with Differential stalwarts such as Dustkey, Brainwork, and Rift, but also less familiar faces like Perspective Shift, Matt Freeman and Damzel.

The end result is an experience only available through pure expression and months and months of effort. Many words can be said about any of the tracks, but it's much better to take a moment and experience the album in full, as it was meant to be heard. With Quarter To Quarter, Amsterdam-based record label The North Quarter delivers its first compilation album: a manifesto and its most ambitious project to date.

The 14 track project features prominent vocalists IAMDDB and Azekel, Bass Music legends Total Science and Break and all the core artists that have made Lenzman’s boutique label the breath of fresh air it is today.

The North Quarter is a collective of artists from around the globe, brought together through a shared love for the authentic. The imprint has become a household name in just a short space of time through ambitious and highly detailed artist projects. With Quarter to Quarter, a compilation of cutting edge Drum & Bass music, the label further solidifies its reputation and unique vision.

Never doing things the fast and easy way, the album was put together and nurtured by A&R and founder Lenzman over the course of 18 months.

Lenzman explains: “Way back when I first got into music, I wanted to share that magic with others. Today that same urge still endures within me. With this album I've tried to bring together a group of artists with whom I have shared values, who have never been brought together in this way, and create a timeless statement of intent."

Polish producer Satl steps out of his comfort zone and explores his Dub Techno infuences on his new Lucid Dreams EP: his sophomore release on Amsterdam boutique label The North Quarter.

Consisting of six brooding, but elegant tracks, “Lucid Dreams” is the work of an artist taking creative risks in order to grow and fnd his voice. Having made the move from Rotterdam to Gdańsk at the start of the year, Satl spent his lockdown delving into his love for Techno; looking to translate it into his Drum & Bass productions - with exceptional results.

"This EP to me is an exploration of a sound that I've loved for some time, but never really felt confdent enough to attempt. A more raw, techno-inspired, but still elegant and classy form of Drum and Bass," he explains. "I always strive to push myself forward, and I feel really good about this project. It's a step outside of my comfort zone. A project that I'm really proud of."
